Our client is a successful Regional Insurance Brokerage and is currently seeking a Senior Commercial Account Executive who can assist in the continual development of their presence within the South East / London market. Your role will be to work alongside the companies Financial Advisor with a view to developing new business through the cross-selling of the companies Commercial/HNW Insurance offering to their Financial clients, and likewise develop new leads for the Financial Advisor to cross sell Financial products to your Commercial/HNW clients.
This is a new business focussed role where you will be required to develop a book of business in line with company objectives.
Responsibilities
You will be expected to provide expert advice to clients to minimise their exposure to a range of Corporate/HNW risks
Follow up on leads generated by the business and the IFA, as well self generating your own prospects to derive new business from
Develop and maintain strong relationships with your clients to ensure that any new client secured is retained at renewal stage
Work with the back office broking team to ensure that service delivery is paramount
Always deliver the highest standard of service to clients so to consistently give the best impression of the business and brand proposition
Achieve new business growth within expected company targets
Skills & Experience
As the insurance products will vary immensely dependant on the clients' requirements it is vital that you have a comprehensive understanding of a broad range of insurance products
This will initially focus on new business development and therefore you will need to demonstrate the necessary skills required and a track record in developing a book of book of Commercial Insurance
Considerable progress towards professional qualifications is desirable
