Our Client is looking to expand their Manchester team within their Property, Insurance and Construction Group.. They are seeking a pro-active candidate who has a wealth of experience, the ability to look for solutions and who adopts a "can-do" attitude. Due to continued growth, the client has a vacancy at the Manchester office
Responsibilities:
You will lead a team of file handlers and lawyers handling subrogated claims on a delegated scheme relating to material damage and business interruption
The role includes the responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance practices throughout the team and also includes responsibility for collecting and controlling management data through established IT software
In addition to managing the team a personal caseload will be maintained
Skills
You will be a qualified solicitor or legal executive with at least 10 years PQE or equivalent and a background in handling material damage and coverage claims on behalf of insurers in Property, Insurance and Construction Claims
It is essential that you have experience in and an aptitude for supervising others and in developing case management processes
In this capacity you must be committed to managing actively technical, strategic and associated issues in respect of any given claim
