This is an exciting opportunity to join a prestigious firm of Chartered Accountants in Hereford, our client are looking for a Business Services Senior to come on board and supervise within the Hereford Business Services team
Duties and Responsibilities
Preparing financial statements for limited companies, limited liability partnerships, partnerships, sole traders and trust/estates from client records
Ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and relevant accounting standards
Preparing management accounts together with supporting information
To prepare tax computations and returns to an elementary stage
Plan and undertake special projects (e.g. due diligence, business planning to scope and budget in support of business development as delegated by the business services manager.
Close liaison with the Tax department as expected from the assignment
To practice the principles of excellent client services at all times
Assist in staff management as required
Skills
ACA/ACCA/ CA qualified
AAT qualified
Good practice of working in an Accounting Services Department, preferably at supervisory level
A basic working knowledge of personal/business and corporate tax
Excellent IT Skills would be advantageous
