Large Corporate Bank seeks to attract an accomplished Product Controller with broad experience to join an established product control team. You will take ownership for a portfolio of books in the team and support all P&L reporting and commentary for these. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fantastic team in a role that allows you to support and manage business critical project.
Role/ Responsibilities
Ownership of Daily P&L process for a portfolio of trade books
Contribution to the Monthly and Quarterly reporting for the equity business unit
Work with the valuations team to ensure accurate reporting for the valuations report
Reporting on trends and market movement affecting the daily P&L to Front Office and
Senior Management
Business analysis and project support
Ad hoc reporting as required
Skills/ Experience
Experience within investment banking product control, ideally with equities
Proven ability to provide high quality analysis on P&L
Ability to work with a complex product portfolio
Education/ Qualifications
Accountancy qualified or equivalent
