*A large financial institution seeks to attract an experienced Business Analyst/Project Manager to join an established Finance Change Function and lead a specific treasury project
* You will represent the Finance department on the Treasury Desk Migration, with a strong focus on Product Control. This will require attendance at Weekly User Group meetings, providing updates on all Finance activities on the project. The incumbent will co-ordinate all of the Finance stream activities, ensuring milestones are set and work is delivered on time
* Typically the incumbent will engage with project team at the analysis stage and participate through the project cycle. This requires a thorough analysis of current state vs. target state, and documenting business requirements
* Testing responsibilities may include managing and participating in functional testing and user acceptance testing, dress rehearsals and implementation/cutover testing
* This is a complex and wide ranging project, therefore co-ordinating all of the Finance aspects is a very challenging role
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
* Qualified Accountant with substantial relevant experience
* Experienced Business Analyst within Treasury or Investment Banking projects, with experience of leading change teams that have delivered large size projects
* Must have a strong Treasury product and business knowledge, in addition to Financial Reporting and Control functions supporting Treasury businesses
* The candidate should have experience leading Product Control and Finance Change teams
* The ideal candidate will have had involvement in product migration/novation projects
* The candidate will need to specify a robust control framework from a Finance/Product Control perspective, and will need to be able to display this experience
* An understanding of Financial Reporting, Bank of England reporting and Capital reporting is desirable
* Ability to write clearly defined Business Requirements. Communication with a variety of senior stakeholders will be necessary in order to determine these requirements
* Flexible, adaptable to change, with ability to work under pressure to a high standard and to tight deadlines
