Fantastic opportunity for a Core Java Developer to join a World Leading Investment Bank working on a large scale Derivatives Processing Application.
The successful hire will play a fundamental role in the development of the platform and contribute to the design, development and enhancement of the existing platform along with the creation of new features. The successful hire will have the opportunity to take ownership of their work from the day they join with an outlined clear career path.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated with excellent communication skills and come from an excellent academic background with a First Class Degree from a Leading University. They will have an in depth knowledge of Core Java, Multithreading and server-side development. In addition to this skills in C, Subversion, Unix are beneficial although not a prerequisite.
Surprisingly Finance IS NOT required and this role is open to both Banking and Non-Banking candidates. This is a great opportunity to make the move into banking without moving to London and applicants from defense/ telecoms and gaming are extremely welcome.
