C#, ASP.NET, VB, SQL, BANKING, PENSIONS, PETERBOROUGH, CAMBRIDGESHIRE, A leading Asset Management firm are seeking a C# Developer for their Technology team based in Peterborough/.
The successful candidate will join the IT Development and Support team based in Peterborough responsible for all aspects of the support and developemnt of the Pensions Administration Systems.
Skills Required
- C# .NET / ASP .NET (1.0 - 4.0) and VB 6.0 / Classic ASP / COM
- Web Services (consuming and writing)including Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
- Relational database systems, preferably ORACLE, but SQL Server or Sybase acceptable , Stored Procedures
- Enterprise level N-Tier development (Internet / Intranet), and an appreciation of client and server-side development
- Systems Analysis and Design documentation
- Problem Solving- Test Planning, execution and Managing Bug Fix iterations
- Good inter-personal and communication skills At least three years working with the above toolset in a commercial environment, ideally within a pensions or financial services organisation.
