Job Description


An international Financial Services organisation is looking for an HR Generalist/HR Advisor to join their team in Zurich, Switzerland, on a permanent basis. You will report into the Senior HR Business Partner and your responsibilities will include:

&bull General HR support: Act as a trusted HR counsellor for Line managers and employees in all matters related to their employment relation with the company
&bull Ensure consistent management of a wide range of issues including poor performance, termination, ineffective management, grievances, disciplinary process, inappropriate behaviour, motivation issues
&bull Define the best recruitment approach together with the line manager and our recruitment specialist and support recruitment activities as required
&bull Ensure alignment of general practices and consistency across Business Areas and other HR Advisors
&bull Internal mobility, employee engagement, policies and procedures, aspects of learning and development.

The successful candidate will:

&bull Have a background in the Financial Services industry
&bull Be educated to degree level, or equivalent
&bull Experience within an HR Generalist role in Switzerland, having knowledge of Swiss labour laws
&bull Speak fluent German and English. French would also be advantageous.
