Senior Internal Auditor &ndash Insurance (ACA, ACCA) up to £55K &ndash Croydon, Surrey
Our client is one of the leading names in building insurance, tenant referencing and related products. The Group are now for an experienced Senior Internal Auditor who will assist the Head of Group Risk Management and Internal Audit.
The Senior Internal Auditor will also be responsible for contributing towards implementing Group policies and procedures, liaising with external auditors, ensuring compliance with new and existing legislation and undertaking various investigations and ad hoc projects.
As Senior Internal Auditor will assist the Head of Group Risk Management and Internal Audit in planning and leading financial and operational audit reviews.
This is a high profile role, providing significant exposure to Senior Management. FSA compliance knowledge is advantageous. In addition you must possess the ability to identify opportunities for improving cost effectiveness within financial and business processes.
EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong Accounting background
3 years or more External/Internal Audit experience of reviewing systems and controls
Experience of writing reports of high standards
Risk Based Internal Auditing
Client Money and Treasury audit experience.
Graduate and CCAB qualified.
Preferably ACA or ACCA. (or equivalent qualification)
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
Good knowledge of FSA, RICS, ARMA, Landlord and Tenants Act client money
The salary range is £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience, plus performance related bonus scheme and Benefits: 25 days holiday, rising to 27 days 8 days bank holiday, Employer pension contribution, 2% Flex Pot after one year service Flexible benefits.
