Hays Banking are currently recruiting for an Infrastructure Support Analyst to work for a large global Investment Bank based in Bournemouth. The Compute Backbone (CBB) is a large grid of Unix servers configured to provide a shared high performance compute environment for use by any area within the Bank.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following
Assist with fulfilment of UK customer demand in the CBB environment, ensuring CBB and GTI processes are followed correctly
Resolve issues occurring during fulfilment and within the inventory and financial systems
Provide assistance with compliance and financial aspects of the CBB and FEA lines of business - review reporting metrics and escalate accordingly.
The successful candidate will have the following experience
Position requires a basic understanding of UNIX and networking
Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft products, especially Excel
