Working in conjunction with one of the top UK banking giants, Hays Banking are looking to introduce an experienced and highly-performing Retail Banking Manager to its client.
Working in branch in the Aberdare area you will be an enthusiastic and tenacious leader from within the industry.
This is an excellent stepping-stone to hone your current managerial skills and demonstrate results with a banking group that prides itself on excellence and supports career development.
You are responsible for achieving and exceeding service, sales and control targets by managing, coaching and motivating the Branch team to deliver outstanding customer service. You also ensure the branch team delivers results whilst following the Banks service and sales processes and procedures.
By providing leadership, direction, motivation, coaching and support to team members you will maximise business performance and ensure that relationships with customers are strengthened.
As a retail banking manager you will lead, manage and coach your team to achieve and exceed branch objectives across a variety of areas, whilst proactively taking steps to make your branch the most helpful financial services provider in your area.
As an experienced Retail Banking Manager you will be able to display competencies and be accountable for delivering on:
Service
Income
Risk
People
Implementing change effectively.
Adherence to regulatory requirements, e.g. Mortgage Conduct of Business (MCOB), Insurance Conduct of Business (ICOB).
Achieving the above by displaying the right attitude, behaviours and actions that are consistent with the clients Values.
As a Retail Bank Manager you will be able to evidence strong results at interview to demonstrate your ability to achieve results and get the best from your team. This, of course, will be evident on your cv to set you apart from your peers and competitors.
As a Branch Manager for the bank you will:
Develop and implement a business plan to ensure that all customers receive the highest level of service and income for the Bank is maximised.
Induct new staff and support their development, and manage the resourcing of the branch to make sure it is working to maximum capacity to provide excellent customer service
Hold regular meetings with the team to encourage and motivate them, thus ensuring that sales opportunities and customer service are optimised.
Develop, motivate, coach and support staff to ensure they meet and exceed performance levels with Personal Development Plans in place ensures that the branch is performing at the top level.
Implement a Training and Development Plan for the team in line with the succession plan. This allows staff to reach excellence and progress within the branch.
Use the Banks appraisal tools and processes, to lead and motivate the branch team to achieve and exceed the branch targets, ensuring regular reviews are undertaken. This also involves coaching and training to build professionalism and knowledge.
Manage and adhere to the Banks key control, credit, sales and service and operational processes and procedures, and make certain that the branch staff are following process and procedure too.
