This position is in Central Scotland
Job PurposeTo provide inspirational leadership to mortgage teams (Mortgage Advisers, Non-Advised Branch Manager & Non-Advised Personal Banking) through relentless sales management, service, quality, coaching and development. Ensure advisers treat customers fairly and receive a consistently high quality of advice to meet regulatory standards.Summary of Key Responsibilitieso Provide inspirational and motivational leadership that creates a positive environment in which each individual is able to fully realise their potential which results in all objectives being exceeded o Deliver exceptional business and sales performance - Develops, implements and takes ownership for the Regional mortgage plan which is aligned to the companies strategy o Deliver an exceptional customer experience that sets new benchmarks for industry customer scores. o Risk - use Management Information to assess risk and to measure and improve quality of advice and sales performance o Significantly raise the quality of Advise & Sales to industry leading standard Qualifications/Accreditations/Professional Membership & LevelQualifications Required * Fully CeMAP qualified or equivalent - this is a regulatory requirement * Authorised as a supervisor for Mortgage & Protection Other Requirements of the RoleKnowledge, Skills & Experience Required * Experience of exceeding objectives and performance targets and fulfilling sales opportunities and providing excellent customer service * An in-depth knowledge of Santander products, policies and procedures in relation to Mortgage & Protection and detailed product and pre/post sales processes/systems knowledge relating to mortgage and protection sales is desirable * Detailed understanding of the sales & Customer Service process * Good knowledge of financial services, regulated advice and competitor activities * Understanding of other products offered by your company and cross selling or referring to maximise profit * Strong inter-personal and sales skills with customers, able and keen to generate natural conversations, asking engaging questions and listens well with the ability to influence others regardless of their position. * Confident and skilled in identifying opportunities and asking for the business * Efficient and accurate in following sales processes, completing related administration. * Skilled in interpreting and analysing data/information to construct appropriately justified advice recommendations * High quality verbal and written communication skills * Professional and credible - able to recall a range of information quickly and recognise the right situations in which to apply the right information. * Experience of working in an environment where adherence to procedures and compliance is essential * Experience of working in a busy, customer driven environment with clear decision making ability * Experience of working to and successful achievement of objectives and performance targets * Experience of providing individual and team coaching and development to improve performance and results * Working effectively in a team * Must be mobile and work across a region holding a full and valid driving licence.
