Our client is a small independent bank, which specialises in commercial and residential property finance. Their continued success means they have recently created a new role for an experienced Loans Administrator to join a rapidly growing team. This is an outstanding career opportunity for someone who has at least 3 years relevant experience from within property finance/lending, combined with strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will need to have good attention to detail, be numerate and a team player. You will also need to possess good working knowledge of Word and Excel and will be familiar in working with information databases.
Key responsibilities will be to prepare loan offer and instruction letters, to ensure that all loan conditions are met and that the security position is protected. You will also analyse and act on information prepared by external professional advisers and maintain close working relationships with introducers of business in order to support business development objectives.
Additional duties include loan drawdown, account and file maintenance, including collation of KYC and anti money laundering information. You will also deal with payment requirements against surveyor certificates, completion and management of loan redemptions, payment of fees and interest collection, dealing with insurance requirements and all post draw down enquiries with professional advisers. You will maintain close working relationships with clients and internal managers, supporting the Bank's business development objectives at all times
