This is an exciting opportunity to project manage a number of high profile initiatives within a highly regarded MTF. Applicants will need to be an Experienced project manger with at least 5 years experience of project management in the context of Equities trading systems, Detailed understanding of equity trading systems functionality (could be either from the perspective of an exchange/MTF or a broker, ideally both) including FIX order flow, exchange access etc. in a European context , be comfortable with working in a fast moving environment where needs evolve rapidly and priorities change have a proven track record in contributing to the delivery of significant technology change - ideally through vendors.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required -
*Exposure to electronic low touch brokerage operations.
*Detailed understanding of post trade systems and processes for clearing and settlement of equities
*Detailed understanding of the functionality and internal technical operation of trading technology platforms (Gateways, Exchange Manager, Sysguard, SOR etc).
*Detailed understanding of the functionality and internal technical operation of an electronic exchange system - probably an equities exchange
*Familiar with functionality of dark pools
*Knowledge of the regulatory environment surrounding equities trading MiFID etc
*Detailed understanding of the functionality and internal technical operation of equities exchange surveillance tools - example Apama or Smarts
*Exposure to electronic trading systems for other asset classes principally listed futures and options and fixed income
