A small Investment Bank based in the City requires a Project Accountant for a 9 month position to work on their Leasing Reconciliations project and also help with creating a new reporting process. As the Project Accountant your role will include:
Assist in producing the financial consolidation mainly the consolidation of the leasing Subsidiaries.
Identify the accounting differences between the SPVs and the companies leasing book. Identify how best these differences can be eliminated when deals are rebooked. Set up a process to maintain and monitor these processes.
Improve monthly lease repayment reconciliations for the leasing SPVs, in order to identify when action should be taken for matured deals that require rolling.
Liason with and preparation of analysis schedules for external auditors.
Prepare monthly operating and finance lease reconciliations between imal (Core Banking system) and the Daily P&L.
Assist with the Group Accounting project, aide the migration of the leasing deals and development of useful reporting from the Group accounting system (FTRS)
Preparation of other routine and ad-hoc reports and reconciliations.
