Lansa Developer urgently required by a leading Investment Bank this is a unique opportunity to join a leading team in a Tier 1 Investment Bank.
The Investment Bank has several projects kicking off - this role will join a newly developed team to help consolidate several teams and use cutting edge technology.
The role will intially involve supporting the main project as well as development with other projects, and then as the project progesses and the developer gets accustomed to the banks technology, the role will then be hands on development.
Role Duties
Conduct technical analysis, development and unit testing of new functionality on the iSeries (AS/400) platform to support the use of ACBS, working closely with IT teams in both the Investment Bank and Group. Provide technical support for the SIT and UAT test phases of the Portugal project.
Role requirements
Liaise with business analysts and technical colleagues to identify the best technical solutions to functional requirements for the Portugal project.
Work from functional and technical specifications to develop inbound and outbound ACBS interfaces on the iSeries (AS/400) platform, primarily by using the LANSA toolset, CL programs and SQL Stored procedures.
Perform unit testing of all code and where appropriate work with upstream and/or downstream application teams to complete testing. Document test results.
Provide support for SIT and UAT test phases, investigating environmental or functional issues raised by the testers, providing regular feedback through to resolution, and co-ordinating the release of fixes to the test environment with the testing team.
Provide regular feedback of progress on all tasks to the technical lead and project manager.
