Business Analyst- SQL
There is a new position for an experienced Business Analyst to join the Global Product Innovation team based in Bournemouth
The team is responsible for identifying strategic system enhancements and investment initiatives to support product developments, meeting evolving regulatory environments. This role will require the ability to effective work in, and communicate with, a multi-discipline virtual team, identifying business goals, designing and Documenting new technical features and working
With other areas of the bank to meet strategic goals.
Responsibilities include:
Complete business requirements for the
In-Settlement Trade Analysis Reporting (iStar)
Project.
Hold regular workshops with stakeholders
Including senior managers, product teams, service
Delivery and clients.
Ensure To Be models are documented and impacts
Considered.
Work closely with technology throughout the
project to influence systems design and
development, translate requirements in
user-friendly terms to business and design
training to be rolled out by subject matter
experts.
Update requirements throughout project
lifecycle
The Successful candidate will have the following
skills:
* Experience in defining and documenting business
requirement documents
* Comfortable when detailing in technical detail
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to build and maintain strong working
relationship with global teams
* Excellent understanding of systems development
life cycle
* Logical and inquisitive mindset, with strong
analytical skills
* Passion to explore fully, understand and
question processes & architecture
* Ability to multitask and work under pressure
with minimal supervision
* Ability to prioritise and complete important
tasks within deadlines despite obstacles
* Ability to identify risks and propose
appropriate mitigation options
* Pro-active, motivated, positive "can do"

Use of Quality Centre
* SQL database scripting knowledge
* Strong Microsoft Vision and Project skills
* Previous history in creating screen mock-ups
