Large Financial Institution seeks to attract a finance professional with previous systems implementation experience of Oracle GL, P2P, Fixed Assets and Project modules to join an excellent finance transformation team in London.
To be successful the candidate will need to have sufficient understanding of the workings of the P2P, Fixed Assets and Projects modules within Oracle with strong interpersonal skills to be able articulate clearly to all parties, from both a business and semi technical perspective, the approach to data migration.
Key aspects or the role include
*Delivery of an integrated Finance Data Migration approach in accordance with the data migration strategy
*Lead specific elements of the migration workstream
*Support of finance project workstreams through proactive engagement in requirements gathering, design solutions, testing and migration to production.
*Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
*Manage business analysts, consultants and business resource for the lifecycle of the implementation
*Identify and manage dependencies with other workstreams
*Provides finance and project management expertise following project governance processes
Requirements for the role
*Qualified Accountant with significant experience on the Oracle e-business suite that can anticipate the needs of the finance community throughout a significant finance system change.
*Project management qualification, or qualified by experience
*Previous experience with P2P, Fixed Assets and Projects is essential
*Functional knowledge of the Oracle e-business suite and related technology
*Project Lifecycle planning and delivery of projects over three months duration
*Financial acumen and analytical skills with an ability to drill down on, and challenge, requirements in order to make own recommendations
*Experience of managing a team of analysts
*Effective communication skills in verbal and written formats to enable understanding across a variety of audiences
