Senior CRM Marketing Analyst- Role Overview
A well known, brand-name telecommunications provider based in London are looking for a Senior CRM Marketing Analyst to join their growing CRM and marketing team. Working with large and varied datasets, you will work to ensure successful customer targeting, maximising ROI, and improving customer propositions to drive business development. With millions of customers throughout the UK, this is an opportunity with excellent prospects for career development and progression.
You will have the opportunity to use SQL / SAS / Excel to analyse large datasets to understand campaign response, customer behaviour and trends in activity to ensure that the business responds to any changes accordingly. You will use data to drive and develop targeting strategies, understanding which products and promotions certain segments and groups will be responsive to, and ensuring customers are targeted correctly with upsell / cross-sell promotions to match their specific requirements. You will also have the opportunity to work hands-on with SQL / SAS to analyse campaign and customer data, using advanced analytical techniques such as propensity modelling / segmentation / cluster analysis to understand retention and acquisition behaviours, and make recommendations to drive decisioning and ultimately improve ROI. You will also use the data to understand trends in customer loyalty and targeting success and apply your findings to improve customer propositions.
The Person
A suitable applicant will have the following experience:
* A degree, or equivalent (2:1 or above) in a numerate subject such as mathematics or statistics
* Excellent SQL / SAS skills for data analysis and advanced statistical techniques and experience working with large and varied datasets
* You will have experience using SQL / SAS in a direct marketing enviornment and will be able to apply your SQL / SAS skills to at least one of the following: segmentations, profiling, customer targeting, CHAID, propensity modelling etc. If you are not able to build statistical models in SAS, training will be provided
* Experience in decisioning, campaign targeting, customer acquisition / retention strategies
* Advanced experience using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programmes
* Commercial experience in statistical analysis to generate insights and reports
