You will be joining the organisation during a critical period of change and it is therefore essential that candidates are comfortable with and can add value to an evolving Finance team. As Project Accountant you will primarily be responsible for both the month end close cycle and General Ledger control as well significant process and system improvement projects
In terms of specific responsibilities there will be significant General Ledger exposure and a responsibility for leading the month end close cycle as well playing a lead role in implementing and managing system changes and adding value to process improvement within the organisation.
This broad and challenging vacancy will suit System focused Qualified Accountants with a strong academic record and a flair for Financial Analysis. All applicants must be have excellent General Ledger experience, strong system skills with an advanced understanding of Excel and ideally Peoplesoft as well as being excellent communicators.
