An opportunity has arisen at a tier 1 Investment Bank for a strong Java developer to join their insurance division.
The systems you will encounter in this role are capable of handling many millions of transactions per day so need to be robust and fault tolerant. The ideal candidate will have experience of test driven development. Topics such as multi-threading, garbage collection, Performance optimisations and dependency injects should all be second nature to you.
Although this is a technically challenging role within a leading Investment Bank, truly exceptional candidates from outside of the industry will be considered provided they have 1-3 years of development experience and the ability the work under pressure within a challenging environment. The ideal candidate will hold a 2:1 or above numerical Degree from a leading University. In return, you will be working for a genuine market leader in the financial trading space with a truly global presence.
