The Role:
The company are seeking to make optimum use of the right candidates' technical skills. You will be responsible for data manipulation, data cleansing, querying and analysis. You will assist clients by providing advisory services across this field, incorporating your knowledge of data governance and standards as you take a leading role in the execution of projects, aimed at delivery the highest standards of service.
You will be expected to get involved in client contact, articulating your knowledge and ensuring that it assists in driving forward client business. As you progress there is also scope for developing your Business Development skills.
Candidates should:
*Have proven themselves to be numerical, IT minded or adept at Operational Research.
*Have proven commercial experience in a financial services setting of designing data layouts or manipulating and cleansing large data tables, and identifying patterns within data to generate business insight.
*Have commercial experience of using SAS, SQL or other data manipulation software.
*Ideally have commercial experience of regression, clustering or sampling.
*Any knowledge of Social Network analysis, regression, clustering or sampling would be beneficial.
*Ideally have some form of accounting experience (especially audit) or forensic / fraud related work.
*Any knowledge or ERP systems such as SAP, JDEdwards or Oracle would be beneficial.
