The role of an Assistant Manager within the team will take on a role of providing detailed commentary on the current risk profile of the principle products traded on the desk, these are bonds, single name CDS and Index CDS.
The successful candidate will take on the daily reposting if Credit Spread VaR, therefore they must be able to understand and review the daily P&L attribution and its relation to the risk exposures.
The person most suited to the role will provide sound judgement, influence colleagues and create trusting relationships with the traders. This role is ideal for an individual that has a number of years experience in a market risk or control function and really wants to take this to the next level in terms of the exposure and product knowledge.
