We are currently seeking an Engineering Quality Inspector for our client based in Hitchin Hertfordshire This is a temporary role with a view to becoming a permanent position for the right candidate
1050 ph
Day shift hours 730am 500pm Mon Thurs 830am 1230pm Friday
Key duties include
Carrying out first article inspection reports on all products
Inspecting all components pre all treatments
Inspecting all components post treatments
Carrying out all reports where necessary
Carrying out inspections using CMM
Working with Head of Manufacturing to ensure all weekly shipments are on time
Working with all setters operators to ensure first articles are carried out in a safe and efficient manner to minimise downtime on the machining turning centres
Ensuring calibration and maintenance is performed on inspection equipment
Input and perform trending of key inspection process metrics
Train staff in quality assurance techniques
