An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Head Chef to autonomously lead the foodoperation in an awardwinning Boutique Hotel nestled in the Heart of the Lake District National Park
The Hotel Restaurant doubles up as a seasonal Tea Room during the day which is extremely popular with visitors to the local area and attractions looking for light bites including cakes sandwiches using homemade bread scones etc and by night it transforms into a candlelit fine dining restaurant for residents and non residents offering exquisite food using only local produce
As Head Chef you must have drive and passion to lead the small team by example and have a good idea of local Cumbrian suppliers as you will be tasked with developing the menus liaising with local suppliers stock and hygiene control HACCP prep and cooking for both the tea room and restaurant
