Our client is a very successful Underwriting Agency and currently has an opportunity for a Commercial Trading Underwriter to join their New Business team You will be responsible for developing profitable relationships with Insurance Brokers throughout the South West and successfully Underwriting New Business as well as renewals
Responsibilities
Profitably Underwrite Commercial Property and Liability risks within your agreed authority
Develop strong relationships with intermediaries across the South West
Successfully negotiate with Brokers
Handle any technical referrals from less experienced members of the Underwriting team
Skills
Previous underwriting experience with a good Technical Understanding of Property and Liability Insurance knowledge of Contractors insurance would be beneficial
