pLaboratory Support Technician We are currently looking for a Lab Technician to join this Antibody Technology Group for a pharmaceutical company in the Cambridge region
The main purpose of the job is to provide extensive laboratory support to the scientists by preparing stocks of media and solutions maintaining bacterial cultures operating autoclaves and dishwasher maintaining stocks of consumable items and processing orders and sorting deliveries You will be required to communicate with all team members to determine laboratory needs use your own initiative to identify needs and solve problems and assist with all general housekeeping duties
You will possess a degree or equivalent in a scientific subject and have previous experience of working in a laboratory environment You will have an awareness of biological safety requirements and lab experience including sterile technique and preparation of growth media for bacterial cultures and buffers is essential
