Senior DBA urgently required for a financial client based in East of England who partner over 30 Fund Management companies representing over half of the UK market providing IT services to retail investment clients and their customers
The role is a combination of technical as well as managerial lead you will be leading a team of DBAs across a range of technologies The team is also responsible to system administration of UnixLinux based systems
Responsibilities
Manage the teams work funnel and supervise members work
Motivate and train the team members performing regular 121 meetings and performance and development reviews
Control the release management of the database elements of application
Be the focus for setting up new environments for test development and production use for applications under the teams support
