My Client is a national company that provide supported living for people with learning disabilities They are currently seeking 2 support workers to work in one of their services in Thatcham near Newbury Berkshire One position is for 375 hours per week and one for 20 hours per week
This service is a set of 7 separate flats within one house The 7 service users that live here have mild to moderate learning disabilities and are all relatively independent
As a support worker we are looking for individuals with experience in working with individuals with learning physical disabilities and associated complex needs
You will be supporting people with everyday tasks in life to further individuals independence and arranging and participating in social activities etc If you have limited or no experience it is not a problem training will be provided It is preferred that applicants can drive and have their own transport
