A leading coal mining company seeks to recruit a Senior Engineer to work on an open cast site in the East Ayrshire or Fife area depending on your location
As part of the management team you will have input into the dayday operations of the site and oversee the work of the engineering team as appropriate
The role will include
Quarterly review of coal reserved remaining
Projected 3 month coal forecast
Projected year end forecast
Comparison of coal recoveries to budget parameters on a monthly basis
Muck flows and cut by cut design
Restoration monitoring and calculations of restoration muck flows
Ideally you will have strong experience of engineering in a mineopen cast environment and be conversant in LSS and MS Excel to carry out the role effectively
Further qualifications in Health Safety NEBOSH Blast Design and Civil Engineering will also be advantageous
