We are recruiting for a Head Chef with proven experience cooking fresh food ideally from local Cumbrian suppliers for a new modern Restaurant near Ulverston in Cumbria
As Head Chef you will be tasked with creating a mouthwatering menu offering fresh locally sourced food liaising with local suppliers staff recruitment and training HACCP COSHH and starting the kitchen from the bottom up
Part time hours can be offered in the lead up to the restaurant opening at the end of September to get menus etc started but will become full time which may include evenings and weekends
The successful applicant will have been involved with a successful kitchen startup before and have knowledge of local Cumbria suppliers Have excellent communication skills be reliable and a team player Ability to cook with fresh produce is essential
