Our client based in Wellingborough is currently recruiting for a Cost Accountant on a permanent basis Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager you will fully support the senior position you will possess significant cost and manufacturing accounting experience driving cost down team leadership skills gained from within a commercial production environment
Key aspects of the role are as follows but not limited to
Detailed understanding of
o Product ranges
o Branded and Private Label positioning
o Materials
o Manufacturing processes
o Customers and pricing
o Suppliers and pricing
o Manufacturing cost base
The generation and detailed understanding of product cost reporting for all product ranges
Production variance and factory variance reporting analysis and investigation
Approval of all standard cost changes in the production system
Identify evaluate and implement agreed cost reduction programs
