Purpose of Job To manage all aspects of purchase ledger maintain showroom and petty cash reconciliations cash handling and other ad hoc accounting jobs
Responsibilities
Control and ownership of purchase ledger including accurate and timely checking and posting of supplier invoices
Creation processing and posting of daily and weekly payment runs including the maximisation of early settlement discounts from UK and foreign suppliers
Resolving of queries and disputes as they occur liaising with relevant departments or suppliers to resolve invoice queries
Control of purchase ledger accounts reconciling to supplier statements and ensuring no payments are left unallocated
Reconciliations of petty cash and showroom accounts with appropriate controls and reporting
Maintenance of all vehicle records accident reports insurance claims and coordination of tachograph analysis and reporting
