A supplier of spares equipment to the armed forces are looking to recruit a Buyer in Southampton This position would suit a Junior Buyer or a recent graduate with experience in or looking to build a career within purchasing
The Buyer will be responsible for purchasing aerospace and defence spare parts and equipment to meet the demands of customer contracts The Buyer will report into the Supply Chain Manager Our client is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who is looking to forge a progressive career and grow with the organisation The duties of the Buyer will include
1 Sourcing and purchasing of goods and services from approved suppliers
2 Entering customer Request for Quotes into ERP system
3 Negotiation of terms and conditions including pricing and delivery with suppliers
