A Service Manager is required to manage a large residential care home with capacity for 24 service users and 50 staff in the Dolgellau area of Gwynedd The service comprises of a main house as well as several self contained cottages for service users set within large grounds Service users are adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities challenging behaviour communication issues self harm etc
Responsibilities include
Recruit and work alongside the service management team
Identify areas of improvement and formulate an action plan to improve the service Proven track record of working with difficult staff teams is essential as is developing an existing staff team to promote best practice
The salary for this role is circa 30000 pa
Applicants will need to have
Experience of working with vulnerable adults in a care setting
Experience of managing large staff teams arealocality manager experience may be preferable
