Duties
1 Advise Managers and other staff on the interpretation and application of existing HR policies processes and procedures
2 Work as part of the senior HR team to review and maintain HR policy documents staff handbooks and employee contracts
3 Recommend appropriate courses of action on employee relations issues including handling disciplinary grievance and sickness absence issues
4 Provide advice and support to managers in the recruitment and selection processes in an effective manner in line with regulation and legislation
5 Work on own initiative and to communicate and meet regularly with the HR Manager and the General Manager of the site
6 Carry out HR operational administrative work dealing with correspondence as required and contributing to the production of HR policy documents staff handbooks and employee contracts etc
