An experienced social worker is required for a busy child protection team in the Bedfordshire area
Candidates will have three years post qualifying experience in a statutory children and families setting You will have experience of holding court proceedings child protection and complex child in need cases Candidates will be able to confidently use IT
The purpose of the role
To provide social work service of assessment of need care planning and as appropriate child protection investigation and to prevent the separation of children from their families wherever possible and appropriate
Candidates will have a social work degree or equivalent GSCC registered or in the process of registration A current CRB is also essential
