The residential houses provide structured but homely accommodation for small groups of students from six to twelve students in each house The students follow a Waking Day curriculum which incorporates a carefully timetabled schedule of activities to support the development of daily living skills and building indpendence
Working in on a rota basis Support Workers are responsible for
supporting the students in both residential and education environments and out in the community
providing appropriate structure and prompts to enable students to achieve education or daily living tasks as independently as possible
communicating with parents education and residential departments effectively and professionally
Successful candidates must be prepared to undertake NVQ Level 3 Children and Young People qualification if not already achieved
