An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Assistant in Lancashire to provide support to the lawyers in the community team on temporary basis to cover maternity leave
It is essential that you have previous experience in a legal team and knowledge of the 1988 1996 housing acts as well as crime disorder act of 1998 The ideal candidate must also have experience working with case management systems Child legislation and child protection knowledge is an advantage and ideally you will be proficient on Microsoft word
On a day to day basis you will be giving advice to clients and preparing cases within housing antisocial behaviour and community safety issues You will be drafting and filing documents at court and providing administrative support to the lawyers in the community legal team
