My client is looking to recruit a Catering Manager to take responsibility for managing the catering staff and catering operations at their property
The role will require both weekend and bank holiday hours
Duties will include
Recruiting training motivating developing and managing staff and volunteers to appropriate agreed standards of performance in all operational areas
Managing related staff budgets to ensure optimum deployment of both staff and volunteers at work at all times
Maintaining high standards of financial management
Developing and enhancing the traditional seasonal and local content of the menus to ensure the highest standard of food quality and presentation
Controlling the purchase of all catering related items eg food consumables equipment etc in line with national and regional buying policies
Ensuring good product knowledge and selling skills in all staff
Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and health and safety
