Our client based in South Humberside are looking for a Construction Engineer to join their team
Responsibilities
Ensuring Contractors present their appropriate RAMS for work being done
Communicating with outside agencies for appropriate permissions
Ensuring all necessary precautions have been assessed and implemented for work being carried out after being discussed with the Safety Officer
Monitoring site activity of the contractor and conducting audits at the work place
Overseeing work to ensure quality is being maintained
Checking permits are correctly signed off
Attending weekly meetings
Ensuring contractors are working by Site Safety rules
Person Specification
Must have an Engineering qualification
At least 5 years experience of managing contractors
Desirable to have experience of working in the Oil and Gas industry
Desirable to have experience of working in line with EEMUA BSEN or API standards
Having some HSE qualifications would be an advantage
