This is a requirement for a Purchasing Assistant

To undertake a key role in the sourcing negotiation and procurement of goods and services and continuous development of procurement policy and practice within schools and the Education Directorate to achieve Best Value
Procured services will include finance HR payroll ICT advisory insurance school meals cleaning grounds maintenance repair and maintenance architects Advisory Clerking photocopiers repairs and maintenance service contracts
To play a leading part in the development and preparation of business plans for all Directorate Services including arms length organisations and schools
