There is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading specialist industrial company based in Wolverhampton The client actively designs and supplies equipment to the Aluminium industry including many different types of casting equipment and melting furnaces
Salary 35000 to 40000
Candidates will possess previous experience manufacturing machinery coupled with an academic mechanical engineering background Demonstrable experience with work in the design and construction phases of industrial machinery is essential Applicants with good verbal and written communication skills will also be valued
Successful candidates will be expected to design mechanical hardware such as Aluminium blast furnaces This will include designing specific components such as
1 Heavy duty casing construction to withstand stresses during operation
