Key Objectives Areas of Responsibility
Delivery of quality production engineering solutions in response to hardware
development operational and manufacturing needs
Represent the manufacturing division at product development and customer liaison
engineering meetings to ensure development teams adopt sound Design for
Manufacture DFM Design for Test DFT practices and meet customer
requirements
Establish productive working relationships with design engineering and planning
teams to maintain regular liaison to discuss issues and agree improvements
Maintain an awareness of developments in production engineering to enhance
capability in this area
Development and mentoring of novice production engineers
Understanding and adherence to local Health Safety procedures as well as actively
identifying and responding to any additional risks developing manufacturing
solutions
