Our client based in Watford who are part of a larger US owned group are looking to recruit a Company Accountant on a temporary to permanent basis This part of the business has a turnover of 50M and the role will be reporting into the Group Chief Accountant
Overview
The successful candidate with be responsible for the day to day running of the finance department including the management of one Finance Clerk The role will include dealing with everything from transactional duties through to monthly PL reporting and year end close
Areas of responsibility
Produce monthly management accounts
Handle the yearend financial accounts and closure
Prepare and produce annual budget
International reporting and consolidation of accounts
Nominal ledger reconciliations
Liaise with clients and internal staff
Process invoices and payment runs
Monthly payroll using Sage Payroll
Good working knowledge of SUN and Excel is required
