Job Description

A successful blue chip company based in Sutton Coldfield Birmingham is seeking a Payroll and HR Administrator to join their expanding team in the West Midlands

The role is equally split between payroll and HR administration with duties including


Preparing payroll for 600 members of staff based at branches UK wide

Collating and preparing payroll to be outsourced

Collating P46s and P45s

Monitoring sickness and dealing with any queries as necessary

Calculating sickness and holiday entitlement SSP SMP

Entering new starter details and updating leavers

Sending out contracts of employment

Obtaining and chasing references

Dealing with general enquiries over the telephone

Providing generalist HR Administration duties for both Head Office and Branch based staff


The ideal Payroll and HR Administrator will hold the following skills and experiences


Previous HR administration experience

Working knowledge of Word and Excel
