Our client based in Alfreton is recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join the Group Services Department to assist the Commercial Accountant in all aspects of Accounts including management accounts and month end procedures The role will also have responsibility for the purchase ledger of one of the companies within the group
The group has recently acquired an online business selling school uniforms and are in the process of relocating the business to Alfreton The role will focus on this newly acquired business and will report to the Commercial Accountant
Initially the role will involve dealing with a high volume purchase ledger and will include a high volume of data entry Changes to the way that the company works will result in a significant reduction in invoices on the purchase ledger side These changes mean that the role will evolve freeing up time for the successful candidate to take on additional responsibilities within the accounts team helping with month end pr...
