Based in Teesside our client are looking for a Project Design Engineer to join their team
Responsibilities
Undertaking training programme on engineering specifics related to chemical storage and piping industry and related 2D and 3D design techniques
Design and layout of chemical storage and pressure vessel systems
Design and layout of piping systems
Vigorous testing and simulation on storage facilities
Involvement in site overhaul and maintenance projects
Utilisation of 2D and 3D CAD software
Person Specification
Minimum 2 years experience in an Engineering background
Experience of Engineering construction
HNC Ideally degree in Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent
Previous experience in the use of any major 2D or 3D CAD packages preferable AutoCAD
Working knowledge of chemical industry standards required
Must be an excellent team player
Commitment drive and flexibility are vital to this role
