An evolving business in Merseyside is looking to appoint a Management Accountant Project Accountant for a sixmonth interim assignment
Working closely with the Head of Finance the role will involve acting as Business Partner to one of the operational departments Acting as the finance single point of contact for this department you will act as a support during the budget processes through reviewing actual results and forecasting the impact on management decisions You will also ensure the accurate and timely month end close and review and improve financial systems and controls You will also take responsibility to report on headcount and take ownership of expenses explaining variances and proposing corrective actions
It is essential that you are a CCAB qualified accountant and have experience within manufacturing and of SAP You must be an excellent communicator This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver in a varied role within an existing robust finance team...
