My client a large international company based near Pulborough in West Sussex is seeking to appoint a Logistics Team Leader with previous man management skills and ideally knowledge of KANBAN or JIT
Your main responsibility will be to lead the ShippingReceiving team controlling the timely and cost effective movement and necessary storage of all materials products and support services to the point of need thereby ensuring that company performance targets are achieved The job includes responsibility to ensure a secure tidy and safe work area with strong focus on accurate system information The job is also highly focussed in respect of environmental considerations associated
with packaging reusable where possible facilities maintenance and COSHH sensitive in particular where solid and liquid waste disposal is concerned
